Meet Dr. Roth

Dr. Roth is a practicing veterinarian with a background in telemedicine and a passion for equitable access to veterinary care for all pets. She’s also a proud Yummers customer. Or, well, a proud mother of a Yummers customer. We’ve been told her doberman, Ruger, is a particularly big fan of Yummers mix-ins. She knows how vitally important mealtime is for pets and shares Yummers’ devotion to giving them what they want and need.

My dogs’ health journey

I've encountered many challenges that pets and their parents face, but none hits closer to home than the issues faced by two of my dogs. Ruger (Doberman) and Pi (dachshund) underwent major GI surgeries, leading to pronounced digestive problems.

This personal experience, coupled with my professional knowledge, fueled my determination to optimize the care of their GI tract. It pushed me to pay even closer attention to the GI tract health of pets that were not having apparent issues. I became acutely aware of whether they were pooping too much or too little, and how the poop looked.

How I support their well-being

I love Yummers Beef Liver Mix-In as the currency for learning for my dogs. It works for ALL 6 dogs! I am also a cheese lover, and we use cheddar and other types of cheeses to hide medication for our pets. I love being able to share one of my favorite foods with my pets in a form that is made just for them! The functional superstar of this new bundle is Yummers Digestive Supplement Mix-In.

Why choose Dr. Roth’s Yummers Bundle for Dogs?

Yummer’s Digestive Aid drew my attention. Elk meat emerged as a standout for its lean profile and amino acids crucial for tissue repair and overall digestive wellness. I've also long extolled the virtues of apple cider vinegar for my health, and I was delighted to see it as a part of the formula.

As a biochemistry nerd, I’ve geeked out on its benefits in regulating stomach pH and acting as a natural antibacterial. It has proved invaluable, especially for delicate digestive systems like Ruger and Pi. Additionally, the significance of prebiotic compounds cannot be overstated in bolstering beneficial gut bacteria, while papaya's enzyme, Papain, aids in efficient protein digestion.

The dried Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic I frequently recommend, helps balance gut flora, making it indispensable for pets with past digestive surgeries. With the confluence of my veterinary expertise and personal investment in Ruger and Pi's well-being, I've come to champion this new bundle not just for them but for countless pets, ensuring they all lead healthy, happy lives.
